About Zia
Zia is a girl who is looking for a special home. She is very people oriented and would make a wonderful companion for a person or family that has no other pets. She would dearly love to find a quiet space where she could hang out and relax, take a walk, sniff the sniffs and possibly take part in some scent work or tracking. She’s not fussed with toys but loves to play the find it game with treats in the agility room, go for a splash in the dam or just lie down for a brush or a cuddle. She has clearly had a good amount of training in her past and when away from the hustle and bustle of the other dogs which she finds distracting she is mellow, affectionate and attentive. It would be amazing to see Zia out there living her best life where she could be fully utilising her brain and training skills.
Zia was saved from the Blacktown pound and we know that she is not good with chickens and small animals. She does currently share her yard with Noki a male shepherd cross but she would be happy to be the only dog in a home.

Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc.
