Lolly

At 1.5 years old, this beautiful girl is still learning that the world can be a safe and gentle place. We don't know much about her past, but when she first arrived at the shelter, she was fearful and avoided touch. With time and patience, Lolly began to trust and discovered that pats can actually feel pretty good - though she can find too much attention a bit overwhelming.

Lolly will need an understanding owner who recognises she'll be fearful and unsure at first. Starting her off in a quiet "launch room" will give her the security she needs to slowly build confidence. Once settled, she'll enjoy some affectionate interaction, but it's important her person can read her body language and give her space when she needs it as she can become a bit overstimulated.

She seems curious and interested in other cats, so a friendly feline companion could be a nice match. Lolly would be best suited to a calm home with teens or older who can keep her environment relaxed and respectful.
