About Zuri
Meet Zuri, a charming four-year-old Cavoodle with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. As sweet as she is, Zuri can be a bit anxious in new environments and when meeting new people. However, with a little patience and understanding, you'll soon discover the loyal and loving companion that lies beneath her timid exterior.
Once Zuri becomes comfortable with her surroundings, she blossoms into the most devoted of friends. She has shown a natural affinity for the company of other dogs and even cats. This makes her a lovely potential companion for households with other friendly pets.
Zuri thrives on treats and affection, her face lighting up with joy at the sound of a treat bag or the touch of a gentle hand. While she can be shy, Zuri is eager to learn and needs some basic and lead training to help her grow into the confident canine she can be.
With just a bit of time, understanding, and love, Zuri will settle into a new family seamlessly and reward them with a bond full of warmth and loyalty. If you're looking for a sweet and loyal companion who adores snuggles as much as playtime, Zuri is ready to step into your life and heart.
Medical notes
Dental scale and clean performed under GA.
Skin irritation noted at time of desexing - treated with steroid anti-inflammatory and antibiotics
Both ears noted to be infected - two week treatment course of PMP ear drops (currently undergoing treatment)
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
