Nature
In a stripey coat of softest brown,
Lives the friendliest cat in town.
Sheldon’s his name — a cuddly delight,
With eyes that sparkle, warm and bright.

He’s not one for hiding, or being shy,
He’ll trot right over, give love a try.
Up on your lap, he’ll curl and stay,
Purring his little heart away.

Company's joy, not just a treat,
He’ll follow you round on tiny feet.
A tap of his paw, a gentle stare —
He’s always hoping you'll be there.

Whether it's morning, noon, or night,
Sheldon’s snuggles feel just right.
A little tabby, bold and sweet,
The kindest kitten you could meet.

So if you need a furry friend,
With love and purrs that never end —
Sheldon’s the one, without a doubt,
The lap-cat life is what he’s about!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Sheldon is currently living in a foster home with four resident cats and another kitten the same age — and he gets along beautifully with them all. He’s a social little guy who loves to interact, play, and join in whatever fun is happening. Sheldon enjoys the company of other cats and would do well in a home with feline friends.

He also shares his space with a medium-sized dog. While Sheldon gives the dog a respectful wide berth, he’s not particularly fazed and handles it all with his usual calm, friendly nature.

Likes / Dislikes
Sheldon is a playful little adventurer who loves nothing more than being entertained and included in the fun. Feather toys and anything with a jingle on the end of a wand are instant favourites — they’ll grab his attention every time! He's also absolutely obsessed with ping pong balls and the fun little games that come with them (Kmart is a treasure trove for these, by the way).

This brave little boy has a fearless spirit — there’s not much that ruffles his whiskers. In fact, Sheldon even flew on a big jet plane all the way from Broome to Perth like a seasoned traveller! With his confidence and curiosity, Sheldon is ready for just about anything life throws his way.

My PURR-fect home would be a loving indoor-only home where I’ll have plenty of attention and companionship. A family that’s home often — perhaps someone who works from home — would be ideal for me. If you're not around all the time, a friendly resident cat to play and snuggle with would make my world complete.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Sheldon please come and meet him at PetO Osborne Park this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. He will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
