About Gidget (66632)
Say hello to Gidget, a bright-eyed, tri-colored sweetheart bursting with potential. At just 1 year and 6 months old, this Staffy mix has the playful energy and silly charm that makes her impossible not to love. Gidget came to us as a stray, so she's still learning about home life. She may need some support adjusting to indoor/outdoor living, and she's still working on her toilet training - but with a little patience, she'll get there. This social butterfly would thrive in a home with a well-balanced male dog who can help her feel secure and model good behavior. She's got a goofy streak and loves to play, but also needs a family that can help her build confidence, especially on the lead, around loud noises, and with some men, who can make her a bit unsure at first. Like many young dogs, Gidget finds birds very exciting and may want to chase them - a habit that's easily managed with time, consistency, and a bit of training. Gidget could be a great fit for a family with dog-savvy children aged 10+, especially those who understand she needs gentle handling and space to grow. With the right support, she'll blossom into a loyal and well-mannered companion. She may also do well in a home with a cat that's lived with dogs before, as long as introductions are slow and supervised. Gidget is ready for her fresh start - all she needs is a loving, understanding home to help her become the confident, happy girl she's meant to be. 🦴 Think Gidget might be the one? Reach out to meet this lovable goof and give her the second chance she deserves!
