About Wilma - 8 Week Old Kelpie X
🐾 Meet Wilma, a sweet, playful girl who can’t wait to be your newest best friend! 🐾
Wilma is an 8 week-old Kelpie X. She is a confident girl with so much love to give. Wilma loves to zoom around and wrestle with her foster sisters before snuggling up and using her sister as a pillow.
Wilma is a smart girl who is very food motivated and eager to learn, making training lots of fun! She will need ongoing training for leash training, basic commands and toilet training.
Wilma sleeps inside in her crate and would need to be welcomed inside, especially at night. She would thrive in a home where she can be part of the family, included in day-to-day life, and given plenty of mental stimulation, play, and love. Wilma is very curious and loves to taste everything so you must have a puppy proofed home.
Wilma loves having playmates so love a home with a confident, adult dog as a teacher, companion, and playmate would be a great bonus.
Wilma needs secure fencing and a yard that is completely puppy proof! This means no under house access, no soft soil to get out under and no choke hazards lying around.
Wilma’s Summary:
🐾 Expected to be a medium sized girl
🐾 Must be allowed inside as part of the family, especially at night
🐾 Puppy proofed home and yard
🐾 Needs a family committed to her ongoing training and socialisation (including puppy school)
🐾 Doggy companion is preferred or someone in the home that doesn’t work full time
🐾 Must return to DRN vet for desexing at 6 months
Wilma’s siblings Minnie, Tigger, River, Lulu and Lola are also available for adoption.
Wilma’s adoption fee is $800.00 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Wilma is in foster care in Sawyers Gully, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast, and Sydney. She’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months old.
