About Honey
Honey is so sweet you just want to eat her all up! She's a bedtime "hat cat" - she likes to sleep curled up on the top of your head when you're in bed. Or otherwise, somewhere close, all snuggled in.
She generally likes the quiet life. If you're out, she's perfectly happy to hang by herself. Unlike a lot of kittens she doesn't need lots going on to keep her entertained. She's fine with the resident teenagers in her foster home, but might find young kids a bit much.
She is super food motivated. She eats the amount you would expect two kittens to eat. We have no idea where all the food goes!
Honey would love a home with a human she can be besties with. Will you be her human?
Medical notes
When Honey first came to the rescue she had cat flu, but she is now totally healthy!
Honey is marked as an indoor only cat as her light colouring would make her prone to skin cancer if she was outside for extended periods of time.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
