Meet Butterscotch! 🧡
This beautiful cream ginger boy came to us as a stray and was shy at first. With some love and patience, he's grown more confident and is learning to trust people.

Butterscotch needs a quiet, calm home where he can settle in at his own pace. He should begin in a single room for the first 5 to 7 days, and his progress can be reassessed from there. He feels safest in cozy hiding spots like igloo beds, cardboard boxes, tunnels, or cat trees, so it's important to provide spaces where he can retreat when overwhelmed.

He would do best with respectful children over the age of 10 and in a home with less foot traffic. Butterscotch may also be fine living with other cats, as long as introductions are slow and gentle.
He would be a great fit for someone with experience caring for shy or fearful cats, but he's also a good match for a first-time adopter who has done plenty of research and is prepared to take things slow.
