About Pepper
Candy.....
because she is as sweet as they come!
This gorgeous little girl has had a tough start in life. Bought on a whim as a small puppy from a market, she ended up in a home where nobody liked her :(
Candy is fun, smart & incredibly affectionate. She is looking forward to becoming a World Class Lap Dog.
Due to her past, she can, at times, feel a little anxious & in need of some extra reassurance. She loves cuddles & gentle talk as much as she loves games & fun.
We believe that Candy needs to be an "only-dog". She enjoys the company of other dogs & is not at all aggressive towards them, but she has a tendency to be a little bit jealous if other dogs are getting attention. She doesn't really want to share her person!
Candy needs to be an indoor girl with a preference to not only sleeping on your bed, but potentially under the doona too! With these cold winter nights, you get your own fuzzy hot water bottle!
Candy loves her daily walks on her harness, she has a jaunty little skip in her step & loves the opportunity to go out exploring.
We are looking for a calm, loving home for Candy. She will thrive once she has the opportunity to build trust, feel safe and have routine & consistency in her life.
Dachshunds are tunneling dogs. Secure fencing is essential to keep Candy safe. She needs a bit of guidance with toilet training & is still essentially a puppy.
She has had it tough for long enough. We owe it to her to find her the extra special home that she needs. Could that be you?!
