About Marley
Meet Marley - Your Blonde Adonis in Fur Form!
There's no "Marley & Me" here - it's all Marley and I. At 6 years young, this stunning Golden Retriever is the definition of golden inside and out. With his luscious blonde coat and Fabio-level flow, Marley turns heads wherever he goes - and trust us, he loves the attention.
Marley lives at the center of his own joyful universe and is more than ready to become the shining star of yours. Bursting with enthusiasm, he greets every day (and every person and pup!) with a wagging tail and a ready heart. Super dog-social and full of playful energy, Marley thrives in a home with another dog buddy to pal around with. He's always up for a game, an adventure, or a snuggle on the couch - and preferably all three in one day.
A keen pleaser with a smart mind, Marley responds well to positive guidance and enjoys learning. He would do best in a home with children old enough to stand their ground - both literally and figuratively - as this happy hurricane of fluff and affection might bowl over toddlers in his exuberance.
Marley is ready to roll, mingle, and make every day a tail-wagging good time. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and downright fabulous addition to your family, come meet the one and only Marley.
Because every day is better with a little more Marley in it.
To book a personal meet with Marley, please reach out to his personal assistants at BARC on 5441-2209 or send him fan mail at barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
