About Mask
Hi, I’m Mask, a loving and affectionate lad who will be a wonderful addition to the right family.
Some of my favourite things include chest scratches, morning snuggles, and bird watching through the window. I’ll even chirp at the sparrows and magpies that visit the yard.
I adore the company of people and am happiest following you around the house while you attend to your human things. I’ll observe patiently until it’s time for a snack and a cuddle on the couch.
Whilst I’m open to sharing a home with many humans, older/cat-savvy children might be best. I’m quite unsteady on my feet at times and can struggle with my balance. I have a condition called scoliosis, which I’ve likely had since birth. I’m not in any pain but I do have trouble jumping up high. Smaller cat towers are a must for my safety. I have an unusual walk - it’s more of a ‘prance’ as I lift my front legs up quite high when I’m strutting around.
My ideal home would consist of a human who is home more often than not. I love a soft bed to sleep in (happy to share with you) and a play session daily keeps my mind active. I’m often up for a play at 5am, but happy to negotiate the time!
My loving nature has won over many people. If you allow it - I’ll rest my head on your chest, and even put my paws around your arm for a close cuddle.
In summary -
✅ People, older children
✅ Cat savvy dogs with a gradual intro
✅ Litter trained
✅ Affectionate
✅ Calm
✅ CUDDLES (giving and receiving)
I would love to find a home that will treat me like a valued member of the family. Another animal friend is not essential if my humans are around most of the time.
Medical notes
Mask has scoliosis we believe since birth this doesn’t make any difference as he thinks he is just like everyone else.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
