Hi there! I’m Dobby.

I’m a gentle soul with a big heart, and though I’m a little shy at first, I warm up quickly to the right person. I’m still learning about the world around me, so I’m cautious when meeting new faces or hearing unfamiliar sounds, but with a little patience, I’m becoming braver every day.

I walk nicely on my harness, though I do like to pause and take everything in. Sometimes it feels like the world is a bit overwhelming, but I’m learning to enjoy it! When it’s time for bed, I’m quiet and content in my crate, always settling in for a peaceful night’s sleep.

I love cuddles and adore soft toys that smell like home. I can be a little playful at times, and sometimes that means I might play bite, but just give me a toy, and I’ll happily redirect my attention.

I currently live with a cat who’s my best buddy! We get along great, and I enjoy his company, so if you already have a feline friend, I think I’d do just fine with them too. I’m still a bit nervous around new people and dogs, but I’m getting more confident every day.

I’d do best in a calm, quiet home where I can continue to grow at my own pace. Loud, busy environments, especially with young children under 12, might be a bit too much for me. I need someone gentle and patient who can give me the time and space to feel safe and secure.

I’m most comfortable around smaller dogs, as big dogs can be intimidating for me. I play really well with the small dogs at the villas dog park, but I’d also be happy as an only dog if someone is home most of the time. Due to my size, I’d do best as an inside dog with supervised outdoor time.

I may not be the most outgoing dog yet, but once I trust you, I’ll be your loyal companion. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate dog who loves to snuggle, go for peaceful walks, and hang out quietly, I think we’d make the perfect match.
