About Scooter
Meet Scooter, a "cup half full" kind of guy who's ready to bring boundless joy and companionship to his new family. This toy size, spirited fellow has recently joined the ranks of the foster dog world due to a change in his owner's circumstances and he's quickly blossoming into a charming, well-rounded pup. Although regimented training wasn't a part of Scooter's earlier life, his eagerness to learn and playful nature have made him a dedicated pupil. With a little help from his foster pals and a love for tasty treats, he's making strides in becoming a true team player. Lead training will be a breeze with him, thanks to his food-motivated charm.
Scooter's social prowess is on display at the local dog park, where he confidently interacts with dogs of all sizes. Watching him fetch a ball is a delight, as he's already mastered retrieving in exchange for a reward. Scooter's journey to and from the park is one of relaxation; nestled in a crate during car rides, he tends to drift off to sleep. While he may be a touch wary of strangers at first, all it takes is a little time and a tempting treat to win his heart and trust.
For Scooter, an ideal living environment is a small to medium-sized, secure backyard where he can explore and play to his heart's content. Apartment living or properties with common walls aren't quite suitable, as this little escape artist knows just how to slip through small spaces. However, a secure environment with loving guidance will certainly see him thrive. With a low-maintenance coat that just needs a simple brush-through once a week, Scooter will look and feel his best, ready to enjoy life with you.
With an expected life span of 15-18 years, Scooter is ready for a new chapter filled with love, adventure, and loyalty. He's looking for a loving family where he can share his zest for life and continue his journey of learning. Let Scooter's infectious optimism light up your life and home!
