Hi, I'm Phoenix!

I'm a young, energetic busy little guy, I have not had adequate socialization in my early life, so I am slow to relax and find my feet, so I'm looking for a bit of a special home. My new home must have another doggy friend, I need the company and for them to show me what to do, I have never known a life without another dog besides me, so It's important I have another canine friend in the home. I am shy and reserved so you probably won't be able to pat and touch me at first, but if you offer a hands-off approach with no pressure, I start to come around pretty quickly. My new home should have a secure outdoor area I can access when I need to toilet, a safe place where I can eat my food away from people and other dogs, plenty of sleeping places and opportunities for decompression and rest, and of course, plenty of good food so I'm never hungry. If you think you could take on a special cute boy like me, give the shelter a call to discuss my recommendations, and if you meet them, we can go from there and book in a meet. Please be sure to bring the other dog/s already living in the home, all members of the household, and treats for bribery!
