Jeff, the greyhound

Jeff is a loving, playful boy with gorgeous brown eyes and an adorable “stomp” walk that’s sure to make you smile. Loyal and affectionate, he’s happiest when he’s part of the family, whether that’s in an apartment or a house — though he’d be delighted to have a backyard to explore.

He’s great with kids, friendly with big dogs, and fine with small dogs in passing, though he’d prefer not to live with them. Jeff would thrive as a companion for another large dog or as the only dog in an active household. On walks, he may start off with a bit of excitement and pull on the lead, but soon settles and enjoys greeting other dogs along the way. He’s well-suited to both city and suburban life, can hold his toileting for up to 10 hours, and when left alone, will often give a short “where’d you go?” howl before settling down for a nap.

At home, Jeff loves lounging on the couch, playing with his toys, and being close to his people. He’s easy to care for, enjoys mealtimes, and has a knack for making those around him smile. With his loyal nature, playful spirit, and endless affection, Jeff is ready to bring joy, laughter, and companionship to a lucky new family.
