Brodie

Brodie is a sensitive, soft-natured kelpie at 8 months old. He is excellent with other dogs, and also loves the company of people once he has been quietly introduced to them. He has slotted in easily in his foster home and has quickly become a very affectionate member of the household. He is quite a sensitive dog, who will bond very closely with his special humans.

Brodie and his siblings were the result of an accidental litter, and have lived together until now. As such, he has not had much exposure to the big wide world and has not had the opportunity to meet many people as yet, so is still quite cautious of new people. However, he responds very well once he has had a quiet introduction and when he is given a few minutes (and a few treats!) to familiarise himself.

After only a couple of weeks in his foster home, Brodie has learned how to sit and to walk nicely on the lead, and is enjoying his walks as he gets out and about. He’s also learning about going out in the car and all the new and scary things there are out there in the busy world!

Brodie gets on well with his foster doggy brothers and would love to have an older, confident doggy friend in his forever home to help him build his confidence and become the wonderful dog he is meant to be.

Brodie is now keen to find his very own home, where he will be able to continue to get out and about and will have plenty of physical and mental stimulation, with lots of opportunities to continue with his socialisation. He will become a very loyal and loving companion to the lucky family he chooses!
