About Zeke
Introducing Zeke!
Zeke is a Domestic Short Hair born approx 11th June 2025.
Zeke was brought in to us as an abandoned orphan at approx 3 weeks of age & sadly no one came looking for him.
When Zeke was first brought into the facility he was a very sweet but very shy boy & seemed like a very gentle soul. Now that he's gained his confidence with his surroundings (and the other cats/kittens in care), he's turned into your typical cheeky kitten to loves to rumble & wrestle. We believe Zeke could be rehomed with other animals, or be the spoilt only "child" at home.
Zeke loves playing with any & every toy he can. This includes tunnels, ping pong balls, ribbons, feathers, stuffed mice etc. We haven't found a toy he doesn't love!
Every known again Zeke can still be a little timid when meeting new people (especially if they move quickly towards him), but he doesn't take too long to warm up to you and he quickly turns back into a little purr machine. Because of this, we are recommending a home with either no children, or with children over 6 years.
Zeke will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only.
Zeke is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Zeke, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
His adoption fee is $315 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Zeke is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
