About Billy
🐾 Meet Billy – The Curious Gentleman 🐾
Billy may only be 12 weeks old, but this little tabby is already a pro at combining curiosity with charm. With his amber eyes, neat white paws, and a distinctive little white spot on the left side of his nose, Billy has the kind of look that melts hearts instantly.
Billy is inquisitive, independent, and sweet – a kitten who enjoys gentle adventures at his own pace. He’s a thoughtful explorer, happy to wander and watch, before finding his favourite bed to curl up in and keep an eye on the “goings on” from a cosy vantage point.
Billy loves:
✨ Cuddling with his siblings
✨ Exploring new spaces
✨ Quiet pats from gentle hands
He’s still learning that cuddles are safe and lovely, but he’s blossoming in foster care – now more confident with people and seeking affection more often. Billy gets along well with his littermates and would do wonderfully in a home with other friendly cats.
Billy’s dream home? Somewhere safe, loving, and full of nooks to explore, with patient humans who will let him grow into the affectionate companion he’s becoming.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
