About Gidget
Gidget the young, female, black and white kelpie x, is ready to surf into your life and head out on all your adventures.
Similar to her movie name sakes; she has an excitable and bouncy personality, short legs, and is agile and athletic. She's only a little girl at 10kg, small enough to fit into a laundry basket twice over! At the end of the day, she effortlessly lands with barely a sound in your lap, before making herself comfortable for snuggles, belly rubs and snoozing.
Gidget loves to run with her doggy pals, those little legs do double time to keep up with the bigger dogs. As she's still young she can sometimes be a bit too energetic for older dogs, however she's learning when to give them space. She's discovered that tug is a fun game, and enjoys playing with her chew and soft toys. Great as a travel buddy because car rides are a time for recharging her battery in readiness for more adventures.
Gidget is working on her basic training and will need someone willing to continue moulding her in to the bestest little dog. She sleeps right through the night in her crate without incident or whimper and if it's been a really big day she takes herself off to bed. While in care her chewing has been toys only, excellent work for a young dog. At the office, she likes to collect as many loves as possible before climbing on to a chair and napping.
If regular adventuring with her hooman isn't possible, she will need a doggy pal for company. Gidget likes to chase, therefore a home with free range chickens or a cat that runs, will require supervision of the highest standard.
If you're looking for a snuggly pocket rocket to go adventuring with, Gidget is waiting to hear from you.
Gidget is located in NSW.
