Say hello to Soldier, the most charming little Shih Tzu gentleman you’ll ever meet. Weighing just under 6kg, Soldier might be small in size, but he has a huge heart, a sassy streak, and plenty of love to give.

This sweet senior boy is a cuddle connoisseur who lives for snuggling up with his human and napping by your side. Whether you're on the couch, working from home, or settling in for the evening, Soldier will be your loyal little shadow, always ready to give (and demand!) affection.

Soldier isn’t just adorable — he’s also smart as a whip and full of personality. He has a delightfully sassy charm and absolutely no trouble letting you know what he wants, whether it’s dinner time, cuddle time, or time for a little stroll. He communicates clearly, knows how to get your attention, and brings a spark of cheeky humour into every day.

He’s toilet trained, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and welcomes guests with his usual gentle warmth. Soldier has great manners and is incredibly adaptable — he settles into new environments with ease and makes himself at home in no time.

That said, Soldier is looking for a special kind of family: one with the time and patience to support him through his separation anxiety, as being alone for long periods makes him feel unsettled. He’ll thrive in a home where someone is around often, or where his new family can gently build up his confidence with routine and reassurance.

Soldier also has some dental issues, which means he currently eats only soft, wet food and will likely need dental treatment in the future. His new family should be prepared to keep an eye on this and work closely with a trusted vet to manage his care.

Despite these few needs, Soldier is an absolute delight — the kind of dog who brings comfort, joy, and a little comedic sass to your everyday life. Anyone would be lucky to have him in their family, and he deserves nothing less than a home filled with warmth, patience, and love.
