About Cruze (66404)
Cruze is a 2-year-old Kelpie x Staffy with a big heart and just as big a personality, weighing in at 25kg. This beautiful boy is still learning how to navigate the world and is looking for a special someone who can guide him with patience, consistency, and gentle handling.
Cruze can be anxious at times-especially when overwhelmed on lead in busy situations, so he'll need a confident, physically capable handler who can continue his training and advocate for him in challenging situations. He thrives with structure, calm environments, and low-pressure introductions to new people and places.
The good news? When Cruze connects with another dog he feels safe with, he absolutely lights up. A well-matched canine companion could really help him come out of his shell and build his confidence. He may also be able to live with a cat, given a slow, positive introduction and guidance.
Because Cruze came into care through council with little background, we're unsure if he's house-trained. He may need some support transitioning to an indoor-outdoor lifestyle-but with time and routine, we believe he'll catch on quickly.
Cruze is shaping up to be a fun-loving, loyal, and affectionate dog who just wants a safe, stable home to call his own. If you're an experienced dog owner who believes in second chances and has the time and heart to invest in this sweet boy, Cruze could be your perfect match.
Ready to help Cruze find his feet and flourish? He's ready to meet you.
