About Hunter - 7 Month Old Labrador X Staffy
Hunter is a real snuggle buggle who lives for cuddles and love. He is an active, daring boy who is confident and bold while still soft and gentle. Hunter loves exploring and adventuring on his dog walks. He loves playing with other dogs and chasing all over the oval with friends.
He is an adorable older puppy who is learning everything he needs to, very fast. Hunter is still a typical puppy who is still learning by experimenting and testing everything. His start was difficult and now he is allowed to relax a little and enjoy himself.
He really does love pats and rubs, cuddles and attention. He'll lean against your leg or sit on your feet and just look up at you with love.
Since being in foster care, Hunter has started to toilet train and mastered it superbly along with using the doggy door. He really does live to please his human and tries so hard. He has gained a lot of confidence playing with his older foster siblings and this has also given him a sense of security. He is food and praise driven, so easy to train. Hunter loves to run around the yard and explore all the garden beds. This, his morning runs, and playing with his foster siblings, give him exercise and wears him out enough to sleep through the night.
Hunter is currently in care with a couple of other puppies of similar ages and a couple of older dogs. He gets on well with them all and would love an older brother or sister to learn from.
Hunter wants and needs proper training and therefore must have a family or person fully committed to spending time with him and training him properly. This will mean he becomes a well-balanced, sociable and polite dog with impeccable manners.
Life expectancy up to 15 years. Hunter’s yard needs to be completely fenced, ready for a puppy with permanent fixtures in place. The yard must be cleared of rubbish and choke hazards, with no gaps in the fences or gates.
