About Hugo & Louie
Meet Hugo and Louie, a pair of bonded brothers whose inseparable relationship is only outmatched by their affection for humans. These two charming boys are looking for a loving home where they can continue to share their brotherly bond while also enjoying the company of their new family.
Hugo, the more laid-back of the two, loves finding a cozy lap to curl up on while being showered with affection. He isn't as playful as his brother, but he makes up for it with his sweet disposition and penchant for purring away contentedly while being brushed.
Louie, on the other hand, brings a spark of playful energy to the duo. He loves toys and can be a little clumsy, making for some delightful comic relief as he prances around. Much like his brother, Louie also enjoys a good grooming session, which makes for perfect bonding time with him and his brother.
Together, Hugo and Louie make the perfect team—one providing gentle companionship and the other ensuring entertainment. Their affectionate nature means they're always seeking a lap to warm, and whether it's playtime or snuggle time, they're happiest when they're together or around family.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
