Xanthippe is a happy-go-lucky girl who adores people and absolutely thrives on affection and reassurance. She's a cuddle bug through and through — whether it's curling up on the couch or snuggling after a fun play session, she just wants to be close to her humans.

She’s fantastic with kids and would make a loyal, gentle companion for a family ready to experience the joy of a young pup. She is still learning the ropes, but with a bit of training and patience, she’ll grow into a well-mannered, loving dog.

This water loving girl is at her happiest when there’s a splash involved — puddles, sprinklers, or the garden hose, she’s there with a joyful bounce!Even as a little reward.

Xanthippe would do well as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention; but she is also learning that its fun to play with other dogs too. If you’re new to dog ownership, she’s the perfect place to start — affectionate, fun, and eager to please.
