About Boo
🐾 Meet Boo – Your Loyal, Loving Shadow 🐾
Name: Boo
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Ginger
Date of Birth: ~30 April 2019
Microchip: 953010003746033
📍Flinders (Shellharbour), NSW
Boo is the ultimate snuggle bug 🥰 – affectionate, cuddly, and happiest curled up next to his human on the couch or bed. He’s incredibly chatty, loves a conversation, and enjoys being brushed and pampered like the king he is 👑.
This charming boy is also playful and curious, and adores lounging by the window, watching the world go by. He thrives on human interaction and makes a wonderful companion for someone looking for a cat who genuinely enjoys their company.
Boo was heartbreakingly going to be euthanised by his previous owners due to stress-related UTIs caused by a busy home environment with young children. Thankfully, we stepped in just in time. Since being in a calm, loving foster home, Boo is completely healthy and has been cleared. He would do best as the only cat, but could adjust to one other calm, passive feline friend with time and patience.
✅ Litter trained
✅️Desexed, vaccinated and microchipped
✅️Flea & worm treated
✅ Cat-friendly (with slow introduction to passive cats)
✅ Affectionate & snuggly
✅ Chatty companion
🚫 Best in an adult-only home (no children)
He’s truly one of the most affectionate and loyal cats you’ll ever meet – gentle, soft-natured, and so grateful for a second chance 💛
Apply to adopt Boo and bring home a best friend who will love you with his whole heart.
Medical notes
Boo was heartbreakingly going to be euthanised by his previous owners due to stress-related UTIs caused by a busy home environment with young children. Thankfully, we stepped in just in time. So whilst he does have some history of UTIs, since being in a calm, loving foster home, Boo is healthy and has been vet cleared.
Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $325
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a $35 lifetime registration fee on top of the adoption price.
