Meet Franklin, our larger-than-life senior with a larger-than-life personality.

Franklin is in his golden years and looking for someone who he can enjoy retirement with. A man of simple pleasures, Franklin enjoys long walks, cosy nights together on the couch and never ending tasty treats. Walks are one of his favorite pastimes, and he still struts his stuff with enthusiasm (though fair warning, he's a strong guy on lead!).

Franklin is excellent with other dogs who mind their manners and don't crowd him- he enjoys their company and doesn't mind sharing his space. However, he's not a match for homes with small children; too much grabbing and snuggling is not his idea of a good time. He's looking for an home with secondary school aged children or older home that appreciates a low-maintenance, high-character companion. Please bring along all children and dogs along to the meet and greet!

He may not be the cuddliest pup on the block, but he loves being near his people. Just in a laid-back, "let's hang out" kind of way. The quickest way to his heart? Squeaky toys! He lights up the moment he hears that first squeak, and they're his ultimate weakness.
