Meet the beautiful Dixie!
This girl would love a family to call her own. She came into care with her 6 babies and raised them beautifully. She is a very gentle cat that loves humans, she is very confident and has shown a lovely personality since being in care. Dixie is happy to just relax by your side or chill out on the lounge or chair whilst you do your thing. She is very easy going, uses her litter and is not a fussy eater at all. How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Dixie is good with kids. She has been fine with our dogs however they don't pay her much attention. She is also untested with cats. She has a lovely nature so with a proper introduction should be fine.

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
