About Dory
đŸđ Meet Dory â Just Keep Wagging, Just Keep Wagging! đđŸ
Looking for a best friend who is equal parts love, chaos, and âWait⊠what were we doing again?â Say gâday to Dory; our 12-month-old Staffy whirlwind with a heart of gold and the attention span of, well⊠a goldfish.
At just one year old, Dory is a pocket rocket of excitement and tail-wagging joy. Sheâs got that classic Staffy zest for lifeâaffectionate, goofy, and always ready to dive headfirst into the next big adventure (even if she forgets what it is halfway through).
Happy-go-lucky to her core, Dory bounces through life with her tongue lolling, her tail wagging, and a constant âI LOVE YOU, STRANGER I JUST MET!â energy. Like her animated namesake, sheâs a little distracted, a little socially awkward, and a lot enthusiastic - but her heart is always in the right place.
Sheâs still learning the ropes when it comes to socialising and manners, but Dory is eager to please and responds beautifully to positive guidance (and snacks - lots of snacks). With consistency, patience, and plenty of belly rubs, sheâs going to absolutely flourish.
Dory is bursting with energy and would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her playful spirit - think tug-of-war tournaments, daily adventures, and a healthy amount of zoomie time. Sheâs still polishing her social skills, so sheâll need a family who can offer structure and the occasional reminder not to leap head-first into every situation. She may enjoy the company of a confident, playful dog who can show her the ropes (meet and greet required), or sheâd be perfectly happy as the solo star of your heart, your couch, and your life.
She loves running around in circles for no reason at all, forgetting sheâs on a lead and launching into joyful Staffy twirls, and giving kisses - so many kisses, often mid-sentence, mid-walk, or mid-anything. She absolutely thrives on being told sheâs a good girl (though sheâll forget immediately and need to be reminded againâŠand again). Sheâll greet you like youâve been gone for a decade - even if you just stepped outside for a moment. Once the zoomies fade, sheâll happily collapse beside you with a Staffy sigh and that signature goofy grin.
Her dream home is filled with laughter, love, and a healthy appreciation for joyful chaos. Sheâll need a family with the time and commitment for training, play, and endless cuddles. Repetition doesnât faze her (sheâs a goldfish at heart) and sheâll thrive with people who embrace her quirks and love her for the full-time love machine she is.
If your life could use a little more sparkle, silliness, and unconditional love, Dory is ready to swim into your heart and never leave.
Her adoption fee is $450, which includes microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, desexing, flea & worm treatment, and lifetime registration in NSW.
