Looking for a best friend who is equal parts love, chaos, and “Wait… what were we doing again?” Say g’day to Dory; our 12-month-old Staffy whirlwind with a heart of gold and the attention span of, well… a goldfish.

At just one year old, Dory is a pocket rocket of excitement and tail-wagging joy. She’s got that classic Staffy zest for life—affectionate, goofy, and always ready to dive headfirst into the next big adventure (even if she forgets what it is halfway through).

Happy-go-lucky to her core, Dory bounces through life with her tongue lolling, her tail wagging, and a constant “I LOVE YOU, STRANGER I JUST MET!” energy. Like her animated namesake, she’s a little distracted, a little socially awkward, and a lot enthusiastic - but her heart is always in the right place.

She’s still learning the ropes when it comes to socialising and manners, but Dory is eager to please and responds beautifully to positive guidance (and snacks - lots of snacks). With consistency, patience, and plenty of belly rubs, she’s going to absolutely flourish.

Dory is bursting with energy and would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her playful spirit - think tug-of-war tournaments, daily adventures, and a healthy amount of zoomie time. She’s still polishing her social skills, so she’ll need a family who can offer structure and the occasional reminder not to leap head-first into every situation. She may enjoy the company of a confident, playful dog who can show her the ropes (meet and greet required), or she’d be perfectly happy as the solo star of your heart, your couch, and your life.

She loves running around in circles for no reason at all, forgetting she’s on a lead and launching into joyful Staffy twirls, and giving kisses - so many kisses, often mid-sentence, mid-walk, or mid-anything. She absolutely thrives on being told she’s a good girl (though she’ll forget immediately and need to be reminded again…and again). She’ll greet you like you’ve been gone for a decade - even if you just stepped outside for a moment. Once the zoomies fade, she’ll happily collapse beside you with a Staffy sigh and that signature goofy grin.

Her dream home is filled with laughter, love, and a healthy appreciation for joyful chaos. She’ll need a family with the time and commitment for training, play, and endless cuddles. Repetition doesn’t faze her (she’s a goldfish at heart) and she’ll thrive with people who embrace her quirks and love her for the full-time love machine she is.
