About Wilbur
đŸ Meet Wilbur (Yellow Collar) đŸ
Wilbur and her siblings came into care at just 10â12 days old, after being found dumped in a box outside a local vet clinic on a cold and rainy day. đ
With no mum in sight and the odds stacked against them, we werenât sure if theyâd make it â but thanks to a dedicated short-term foster carer and countless bottle feeds around the clock, these little fighters pulled through.
Wilbur, decided one day that she had zero interest in drinking from the bottle. One day she simply refused another feed and dove straight into the big-kid food like a champ. We couldnât help but laugh â she knew what she wanted, and she went for it! đ
Sheâs now thriving â a happy, healthy pup whoâs growing quickly and absolutely loving life.
Wilbur has a fun, confident personality and isnât afraid to try new things. Sheâs sweet, outgoing, and loves people â always keen for attention and cuddles. She has been raised around cats, dogs, and kids.
We expect Wilbur will grow into a large-sized dog. Mum is believed to be a Shar Pei mix, and while dad is unknown, the size of Wilburâs siblings (and their chunky paws!) suggests these pups wonât stay small for long.
Like all puppies, Wilbur will need a home thatâs committed to her ongoing training and socialisation. With the right support, sheâll grow into a confident, loving companion whoâll bring plenty of fun to her future family.
Wilbur has been vaccinated, microchipped, and is up to date with her flea, tick, and worming prevention.
Sheâll be ready to head off to her forever home after her Desexing.
Wilbur will make a fun, loyal, and affectionate addition to the right family â especially one who loves a pup with a bit of personality and a whole lot of heart. đ¶đ
