About Fern
🐾 Meet Fern (Green Collar) 🐾
Fern and her siblings came into care at just 10–12 days old, after being found dumped in a box outside a local vet clinic on a cold, rainy day. 💔
They had no mum with them, and we weren’t sure if they’d survive — but thanks to a kind short-term carer and lots of round-the-clock bottle feeds, these little fighters pulled through. Now, Fern is thriving and enjoying the puppy life she deserves!
Fern is one of the smallest in the litter, but don’t let her size fool you — she’s full of love and charm.
She’s an easygoing girl who adores people and always wants to be close by. She’s very similar to her brother Zuckerman — both are sweet, calm, and just want to be loved. Fern is the type of pup who will happily curl up in your lap for cuddles after playtime.
She’s been raised around cats, dogs, and kids, and is already showing signs of being a gentle, affectionate companion.
We expect Fern will grow into a medium to large dog. From what we know, mum was a Shar Pei (possibly cross), and while we don’t know who dad was, the size of her siblings (and their paws!) suggest they’ll all be decent-sized dogs once fully grown.
Fern will need a family who’s committed to continuing her training and socialisation, to help her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult. Early exposure to new things will be so important in setting her up for success.
She has been vaccinated, microchipped, and is up to date with flea, tick, and worming prevention.
Fern will be ready to head off to her forever home after desexing.
Fern will make the sweetest addition to a loving home — especially one that values a calm, people-loving pup who just wants to be part of the family. 💚🐶
