About Lucy
Hi Everybody,
My name is Lucy and you can tell from the photos that I am a happy girl. I am a blond Labrador (some say "gold", some say "yellow", but I prefer "blond") with great teeth, eyes that twinkle and a smile that lights up a room.
I have an outgoing personality and the other dogs I live with at my foster home agree. They all love me because I am an easy-going, friendly girl.
In fact, just quietly, you could ask every living creature what I'm like and they’d say the same, but I must try to be humble.
If you're a KID then you'll be probably be MY BEST FRIEND. I’d like your cat too, if you have one. Maybe even guinea pigs and lizards.
I'm very definitely an inside pup at heart, although I'm happy to play in the backyard and snooze in the sun during the day. But at night please don't send me outside to sleep.
My foster Mum is proud of me for being completely house-trained and when she says "come here", I do. I also sit when she thinks I should.
Given the chance, you and I would become best mates and that's for sure. Between napping, I'd find time to go on walks with you or to the beach or for a ride in the car. Lots and lots of stuff, but not bungee jumping. I haven’t been in a motorbike sidecar, but I think that would be fun, too.
My vital statistics are: I was born 14 August 2018 and, gosh, I think I am a Leo.
I bark if someone arrives at my home or if there's something that makes me feel uncomfortable. Then I need to let the family know. Otherwise I’m a pretty quiet girl.
I don’t have any itchy bits or allergies and I love my food. (Note to self: possibly need to trim down a little to get into last year's harness.)
When my foster Mum says "Lucy, you are something special", I smile until my face hurts. I would love to be part of a family with kids 'cos kids are best.
If you think I'd fit into your home, please complete the online adoption application at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Answer all the questions and include photos of your yard and fencing, so I know there's some space for me. Most importantly, I hope you have kids or grandkids or kids living next door or friends with kids.
Love,
Lucy
