Muppet

Muppet is a sweet Kelpie x Staffy who came into care emaciated and terrified, with seven tiny puppies in tow. Since then, she has come a long way — she’s happy, playful, affectionate, and confident while at home. She adores cuddles, knows basic commands, walks beautifully on lead, is friendly with dogs and cats and is calm around other animals like sheep and cows. She jumps in and out of the farm car with ease and is a pleasure to have around the property.

But Muppet does struggle with new environments and unfamiliar people. When visitors come to the property, she barks and runs away to hide if they try to interact with her. Her fear of strangers makes it very difficult to introduce her to new people, even in her own space. Because of this, Muppet needs a home in a quiet, rural setting - where visitors are few and far between and barking at the gate when a strange car arrives is is seen as a helpful heads-up, not a nuisance.

Muppet would suit a kind, patient person or couple who understand that trust will take time, but that once she gives it, she will be stuck to you like glue and bring smiles to your face all day! She has a beautiful fun-loving personality, a gentle soul, and is an absolute joy for those she knows and loves.

Muppet is ready to find a home of her own — one that matches her outgoing nature... but gives her the space and time she needs to feel safe and settled enough to show it!
