About Heathcliff
😺 Shy at first, but warms up into a curious and adventurous little guy
🐾 Best adopted with his brother Hector or a household with another feline friend
🐶 Untested with dogs
👶🏻 Untested with Children
🏠 Strictly indoors only (a fully enclosed, professionally installed catio is fine)
🍗 Very food motivated – snacks are the key to his heart
Sugar meter: 🍬🍬🍬🍬/5
Spice meter: 🌶️/5
Heathcliff starts out as a quiet observer, preferring to scope things out before getting involved – but once he feels secure, his inquisitive side takes over. He’s a natural explorer and loves finding cozy corners, high perches, and anywhere that looks fun to investigate.
He and his brother Hector love each other – they sleep together, eat together, play together, and even call out to one another in the house. It will be best if the pair can find a new home together or be adopted into a household with another feline friend.💛
Heathcliff is highly food motivated, which makes bonding and training a breeze. A well-timed treat is all it takes to turn him from shy to snuggly.
He’ll thrive in a calm, patient household that understands the beauty of letting cats come out of their shell at their own pace.
If you'd like to meet Heathcliff, please submit an application – the more info you can provide about your home and experience with cats, the better! 🤗

Adoption details
If interested in a cat that is available for adoption, we require you to fill out an adoption application, and one of our lovely foster carers will give you a call to organise a time for a meet and greet.
Please note: As we are all volunteers with limited time up our sleeves, we prefer all interested potential adopters to fill out an application, rather than send an enquiry, as this helps us know more about you and what you are after, and saves us all a lot of time!
Apply here for a cat or kitten: https://form.jotform.com/sugarandspicecatrescue/cat-adoption-questionnaire
If forms aren't for you though, please SMS us (the number is in the link) and we can call to go through the form over the phone.
