About Lizzie
Meet Lizzie, a charming four-year-old Cavalier with a gentle heart and a playful disposition. While initially shy with new faces, she melts your heart with a warm gaze and a wagging tail. Once she feels comfortable, Lizzie blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion who thrives on treats and gentle pats, making her an incredibly rewarding friend for those willing to give her the space and patience she needs to adjust.
Lizzie is also a social butterfly among her canine peers, making her an ideal choice for homes with other dogs that love to play. Her social skills do not extend to cats, so it's best if her new family is cat-free. Lizzie would benefit from consistent lead training to enhance her walking experience. Although she's shown a tinge of separation anxiety, rest assured she settles quickly and is adaptable to a routine.
Whether it's cuddling on the couch or exploring the world around her, Lizzie is an amazing dog who is ready to find a family that cherishes her gentle spirit and endearing shyness. This delightful Cavalier is eager for new adventures and a loving home where she can shine.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
