Hi, I’m Oreo – a sweet, smoochy, black and white boy with the softest fur and an even softer heart. I’m 4 years old and my name suits me perfectly – I’m sweet on the inside, with a classic black-and-white look that makes me quite the handsome gentleman (if I do say so myself).

When I first came into the shelter, I was pretty scared. Everything was loud and new, and I didn’t know who I could trust. But thanks to some patient humans and a quiet, safe space, I’ve come a long way. I’ve learned that cuddles are amazing, and I really love gentle affection – I’ll nuzzle right into you and show you just how smoochy I can be.

Because of my sensitive start, I’d be happiest in a calm, quiet home without young kids. I think I’d do best with adults or older children (12+), who understand I might still get a little shy sometimes. I just need someone who will give me the time and love I need to keep blossoming into the confident cat I know I can be.
