Meet Tammy – A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Forever Home

Tammy is a 5-year-old Staffy x Ridgeback with a heart as big as her puppy-dog eyes. She came to us as a rescue through Precious Paws as a 6-month-old pup, and from the beginning, she’s been a loving, sensitive soul who just wants to be close to her humans.

Tammy thrives on connection — she’s happiest when she’s curled up next to you for cuddles, being gently stroked, or just following you around the house like your loyal little shadow. She’s incredibly soft-natured and affectionate, and is looking for a calm, loving home where she can finally relax and be the centre of someone’s world.

She’s grown up with dogs & cats and absolutely adores her feline friends especially — often found snuggled up beside them, nuzzling gently and never overstepping. She’s also wonderful with little humans, provided they’re gentle and quiet like her. Tammy doesn’t cope well with loud noises, chaotic environments, or raised voices — she’s very much a zen soul who melts into soft classical music and peaceful energy.

Tammy is house-trained, uses a doggy door confidently, and has always been an indoor girl who just wants to be wherever you are. She walks beautifully on lead, has excellent recall, and never strays far from her people. And when it’s time for adventure, she absolutely comes alive on beach walks — chasing a ball with endless enthusiasm (she’ll go until her legs give out if you let her!).

What Tammy needs most is a calm, quiet home where she can be the only pet — a place where she doesn’t have to share affection or space, and where she feels safe, seen, and deeply loved. She would suit a single person, couple, or family with a slower lifestyle, who understands sensitive dogs and is ready to give her the peaceful, soft life she deserves.
