About Potato - 9 Week Old Shar Pei X Staffy
Meet POTATO 🥔
Potatoes come in many forms but this potato is by far the best!!
This positive potato brings so many smiles and laughs with him as you watch him navigate the world like tater tot on legs!
Potato is a Shar pei x Staffy who came in to care on his own but since in foster he has shown he is a confident pup, eager to learn, eager to play and eager to snuggle!
Potato has met lots of dogs being socialised with dogs and puppies, little and large. He loves to wrestle with his foster brother and zoom around the backyard before plonking down and cuddling up to you and his foster brothers.
Potato is currently living with cats and doing well with them so could live with dog savvy cats.
Potato is still young and is doing great with his toilet training, crate training and learning basic commands and will need a family committed to his ongoing training and socialisation.
Potato sleeps in his crate in the bedroom at night and must be welcome inside especially at night. Potato loves his people so he needs a home where he can be a part of the family, included in day-to-day life, and given plenty of mental stimulation, play, and love. Being a puppy, Potato is very curious and loves to taste test everything so you must have a puppy proofed home.
Potato needs secure fencing and a yard that is completely puppy proof! This means no under house access, no soft soil to get out under and no choke hazards lying around.
Potato loves having playmates so a home with a confident, happy adult dog as a teacher, companion, and playmate would be a great bonus.
Potato has hemp oil and sardines added to quality kibble as well as some coconut oil rubbed in to his skin after a bath to ensure his skin stays nice and healthy, he now has the softest coat and healthy skin so this ongoing care will be needed from his new family to ensure the best care for this potato and reduce skin issues further down the track. 🐶
