About Dolly
Apricot charm | affectionate | super cute
Meet darling Dolly, an endearing and sweet-natured miniature apricot poodle who is eager to find her forever family.
Born on June 28, 2021, Dolly is just 7.8 kilograms, the perfect size for snuggling on the couch and playing in the backyard.
She’s a confident and adaptable girl and thrives once she feels comfortable and secure. It took her only a few days to adjust to foster care and a week to completely settle in to her multi-dog foster home.
Her affectionate nature makes her an ideal companion for a family, couple or singleton. She's happy to share the love in a multi-dog household, but would be equally content as an only dog to a retired couple or individual with opportunities for social interaction with other dogs.
Dolly loves food, which is a wonderful way to her heart. She isn't a fan of walking on a leash, but with patience and positive reinforcement, she may make progress over time.
She's house-trained and enjoys car travel. She has had no contact with children or cats since being in care, but we know she loves other dogs. She will sound the bark alarm if someone comes to the door, but is otherwise a quiet girl.
She adores sleeping in fluffy beds designed especially for dogs, but also loves cuddling up with her human in bed.
Very much a companion dog, Dolly's ideal home will have someone around the vast majority of the time and unlimited indoor privileges.
So, if you're looking for an affectionate and delightful companion who will brighten up your home with her loving nature and charming Poodle antics, Dolly could be the perfect addition to your family.

Medical notes
Dolly has a very mild allergy that causes some irritation around her ears. Our vet has assured us that there is no infection. It may be a response to dietary change since coming into care or a mild grass allergy. Symptoms are easily managed by wiping out her ears once a week with a medicated ear cleaning solution.
