About Leroy
Meet Leroy – From Gentle Ginger Gentleman to Confident Companion 🐾
Leroy is a handsome 1-year-old ginger and white boy who has blossomed into a confident and playful young cat. Once a shy soul, Leroy has truly come out of his shell—he now happily greets visitors, joins in with playtime, and shows off his affectionate side.
This boy loves a cuddle on the couch, but he also enjoys his independence and knows when it’s time for some quiet. His big claws mean playtime can be energetic (his foster carer’s hands will vouch for that!), so he’d do well in a home that understands cat play and provides toys and scratching posts to keep him busy.
Leroy has become great friends with his foster sisters and enjoys playing with them. He’s even said hello to the resident dog, who happens to be a bit nervous around cats, and handled it beautifully.
Storms, however, are not Leroy’s favorite—during a recent one he ran straight to his people, meowing for comfort and companionship. This just shows how much he trusts and seeks reassurance from those he loves.
Leroy would thrive in a loving home where he can enjoy both play and cuddles, with patient owners who appreciate his gentle nature and newfound confidence.

*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
