Macey

Macey is the kind of cat you sing Soft Kitty to. At just over 8 years old, she still has the softest fur and adores scritches, pets and being brushed and would kindly ask that you never stop doing so please and thank you. This mature lady is the sweetest baby, a sucker for cuddles, treats & attention, somewhere along the way she’s even picked up a cute Meerkat Begging dance she’ll do if you’re ignoring her!

Macey had a rough life – she was adopted out from SARR as a wee kitten & then 7 year later she came back to us a different cat. She was stressed, distrusting and reactive – most this stress coming from even the sight of other cats. With some TLC & Alone Cat time in Foster Care she’s come back to the soft kitty we always knew she was.

½ a tablet a day helps her anxiety so much (like so many of us!) and on it she’s purrrrfect. Macey is an easy cat to get to take her meds, she loves wet food + pill in the morning & her crunchies in the evening. She’s a wonderful and easy cat to fit into your routine because she loves one too. She’s the perfect companion for a single or two person home – she’d complete your family 😊

What Macey wants:

Someone to pet her every morning, preferably while she’s eating and making bikkies on the ground. Pats & Breakfast are her two favourite things.
A warm sunny spot to curl up in during the day & snooze all day.
More pats in the evening, ideally with more snacks and bikkie making.
A lap to curl up in in the evening.

Macey is strictly:

No Cats. If she never saw another cat again Macey would be the happiest clam in the world.
No Kids. Older teens are fine but Macey loves a quiet, slow paced environment.
Maybe Dogs. Macey has been around dogs and bares them no mind – same as kids though, she benefits from the slower, calmer dogs.
