About Rusty
Meet Rusty, a sweet and gentle soul who has so much love to give once he finds his special someone. Rusty is on the lookout for a home that can offer patience and understanding, allowing him the time he needs to feel secure and comfortable. While he may be a little shy at first and take his time getting to know people, those who give him this chance will discover an immensely loyal and affectionate companion.
Rusty is a remarkable dog with a gentle demeanor that truly blossoms once he trusts you. While he currently shares his space with other dogs, Rusty is quite content to be by himself, as he cherishes one-on-one interactions. He would thrive in an adult-only household, or in a home with teenagers who understand his need for patience and time to adjust to a new environment.
If you're seeking a loving companion and are ready to offer Rusty the patience and care he deserves, he could be your perfect match!

To find out more information about this animal, or to organise a time to see them, please contact our foster carer listed who will take you through the adoption process.
Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
If you would like to sponsor an animal or to donate to DCH to help us assist more animals in need, then please visit the following page:
