Igloo was one of the dogs that came from the hoarder situation. Given his circumstances he is blossoming into a beautiful young dog.

He has gained confidence (and weight) in an unfamiliar environment with other doggies with ease. He has learnt to sit, lie down and “out the kitchen”. He is very food motivated which has aided our training well. Igloo is incredibly smart with a high drive and eager to please

Igloo would best suit a home with a mentor dog. He has been around many dogs for his whole life and currently lives with a ‘seasoned veteran’ mentor dog. He is learning to play, when to sleep and has toilet training fully down pat (super impressive given his past)

I believe Igloos ideal home is loving, warm and happy to include him in all of their adventures. They will need to be patient with him as he is still learning and growing. His ideal home has a cozy spot for him to snuggle into and lots of outdoor time to play. He isn’t tested with kids inside the home, but in public when asked to be pat he is a good, polite boy. As for cats, given he is a working breed and his current foster home does not have cats, it would need to be tested, however he is incredibly respectful of boundaries and young enough to learn.
