Say hello to Maxy!

Maxy is a big dog, who is looking for an adopter who can keep up with his guardian breed-energy and love for long walks. He is a young boy who has a lot of puppy energy to burn. If you're looking for a big, high energy dog, Maxy could be the boy for you! Due to him being a guardian breed he is not suitable to live in an apartment and will need a big backyard to run around.

Maxy will need an adopter who can make sure he feels safe and comfortable as he settles into his new home, as he can be a little unsure and underconfident in new situations. Due to this his new family will need to have someone home more often than not. He will need to take things slow as he meets new people, new dogs and goes to new places. Once he becomes familiar with his routine, his confidence will grow!

Maxy isn't too sure about other dogs. Sometimes he is interested and sometimes he is not so keen. He will need to be the only dog in the household. He isnt the biggest fan of feline friends or pocket pets either, so none in his new home please! Maxy is suitable to live with secondary school aged kids or older. Please make sure all family members come in for a meet and greet.
