River Ray is a handsome, medium-sized boy with a heart full of curiosity and a spirit that’s ready to shine. He’s alert, intelligent, and always eager to understand the world around him — he just needs the right people to help him take that final step toward confidence.

This smart young lad is crate trained, toilet trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. River Ray has plenty of energy for walks, playtime, and a good wrestle with his furry housemates, but he’s also happy to settle down and snooze by your side when the day winds down.

When it comes to walking, that’s where River Ray truly shines! He’s learning not to pull and checks in with you often — a sweet reminder that he wants to do his best. A confident mentor dog would be a wonderful match for him, but he’s also content to be the center of your world if given understanding and guidance.

River Ray has lived happily with three human foster sisters and currently shares his home with two canine friends. He plays respectfully, loves a good tumble, and shows beautiful manners around his companions.

He’s looking for his forever family — someone patient and kind who’ll give him the time he needs to feel secure. Once he trusts you, he’ll reward you with complete admiration and endless loyalty.
