About Mia
Meet Mia, an enchanting 4-year-old Cavalier with a heart full of love and an eagerness to share it. Her sweet, friendly nature makes her a charming companion for anyone seeking a loving addition to their family. Mia walks smoothly on a lead and displays the promise of becoming even better with basic training, which she is eager to undertake with the right guidance and encouragement.
Mia's sociable spirit shines through in interactions with both dogs and cats, and her outgoing demeanor endears her to everyone she meets. She has a genuine love for pats and treats, making her easy to please and a perfect fit for a home that will welcome her with kindness and warmth. Although she can be a little anxious at first, Mia quickly warms up once she feels safe and secure, showing just how important a loving environment is for her.
Mia does have some stimulus-based barking as well as a degree of separation anxiety. She is best suited to a home where there is someone around for most of the day or with a little doggy companion to keep her company. She likes having family to share her day with, whether it's enjoying leisurely walks in the neighborhood or just curling up together for some bonding time.
In the hands of loving and patient owners, Mia is sure to blossom, offering unwavering loyalty, affection, and companionship. If you're seeking a kind-hearted dog with a joyful spirit, a home with Mia will undoubtedly be filled with happiness and wagging tails.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
