Hi There, I'm Squid!

I know, I know — Squid is a funny name for a cat. But once you get to know me, it kinda fits. I’m soft, quiet, a little wiggly when I stretch, and I might seem mysterious at first... but underneath it all, I’m just a big sweetheart.

The truth is, I’m not the kind of cat who comes charging into a room demanding attention right away. I need a little time to adjust when I’m in a new space — new people, new smells, new sounds — it can all be a bit much at first. But if you’re patient with me, and let me come to you on my own terms, you’ll see the real me: a gentle, affectionate boy who just wants someone to love.

Once I feel safe, I love soft pets, cozy naps near you, and quiet moments together. I’ll follow you from room to room, curl up nearby while you work or relax, and gently nuzzle your hand to let you know I’m there. I don’t ask for much — just kindness, calm, and a bit of understanding.

I’m looking for a home that’s not too loud or chaotic, with someone who gets that good things take time. If you're willing to give me a little space at first, I promise I’ll fill that space with love soon enough.
