Meet the beautiful Peppy!

Sweet Peppy arrived at the shelter as a stray in rough shape, but with plenty of love and care, she's bounced back and truly flourished just like her name suggests.

This affectionate young lady thrives with regular activity and would love a home where she can enjoy a fun, active lifestyle. We're talking daily walks, playtime, and brain games to keep her engaged. She is very food motivated and LOVES a snuffle mat or pig's ear so she can be easily entertained when food is involved.

Peppy has an infectious love and zest for life which is contagious. She is sunshine in the form of a dog and we also like to call her a spring on legs. She is silly, goofy and playful and what more could you really want in a dog!?

She's not the biggest fan of vet visits and can be a little nervous in those situations, but with patience and understanding, she'll continue to grow in confidence.

Peppy would suit a home with teens or adults who can give her space when she needs it and help her settle into a routine. She enjoys the company of other well matched dog and may enjoy a canine companion, pending a successful meet-and-greet at the shelter.

Due to her risk of developing anxiety, Peppy needs a household where someone is home most of the time. She'll thrive in a calm, supportive environment where she isn't left alone too often, and where she can truly feel safe, secure, and part of the family.
