About Rosie
Meet Rosie, a spirited and sweet-natured five-year-old Rottweiler eager to find her new family. Rosie is a delightful mix of strength and charm who’ll win your heart with her sweet personality and treat-loving ways.
Rosie loves structured introductions with other dogs; she has shown to become reactive and assertive with more confident or reactive dogs, but a calm, submissive dog companion would possibly suit her need to be leader of the pack. Due to her tendency to chase, a home without cats/pocket pets is required. She would thrive in the hands of an experienced, confident handler familiar with large breeds who can manage her strength and excitement, especially during walks. She might tug just a bit, so she's looking for someone eager to continue her lead training journey!
Despite her robust size, Rosie is a gentle soul with people, eager to please and quick to offer a handshake or sit on command, especially if there are treats involved! Her outgoing nature makes her the life of the party, but because of her size and enthusiasm, she’d be happiest in a home without small children.
Rosie's looking for a loving home where she can continue to grow and thrive, surrounded by humans who appreciate her playful energy and outgoing personality. If you have space in your home and heart for this special Rottweiler, Rosie is ready to become your new best friend.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
