Boo is an affectionate lady who just wants to be loved.
Most of the time she is calm and just wants to be near her people, sitting or laying at your feet. Boo doesn’t jump up and has lovely manners most of the time, she sometimes forgets when there is food involved and has snatched treats on occasion. When it comes to food, she is very much a Labrador! She needs to be scatter fed or have her food in a slow feeder bowl, so she can’t inhale it all at once.

Boo didn’t have much muscle mass when coming into care and still doesn’t have much stamina when it comes to walks. She is slowly getting fitter and loves to go for a walk. Increasing her fitness is something her new family should continue to work on as it will benefit her greatly as she gets older. Boo is learning not to pull on the lead, she does sometimes forget at the start of the walk, though settles quickly.

Boo is currently sleeping inside at night and is outside during the day whilst her carer is at work. She gets very excited to see you when you get home and gets just as excited about brekky and dinner. She likes her routine and if she thinks you’ve forgotten her meal, you will hear about it!

Boo has been in care with two confident cats, although she barked at them through the window initially, we haven’t had any issues or barking since. Boo has also been good with other dogs since coming in to care, currently living with 1 medium and 3 small dogs. She is not too sure about playing with the other dogs though she is slowly getting the hang of it.
If Boo is not sitting at your feet, she is exploring the yard, napping in the sun or chewing on a chew toy.

Boo is looking for a family who will include her in their lives, actively work on her fitness, take her on adventures, give her lots of pats, belly rubs, love and affection.
