About Cora
Meet Cora! She is a stunning friendly and intelligent girl who is looking for a foster-to-adopt home or a foster carer with experience with her breed. 🏆
She is friendly and intelligent and playful girl hasn’t had the benefit of rules or boundaries in her short life, but she’s already showing incredible promise. While she currently lacks formal obedience skills, she’s eager to connect and is just waiting for someone to show her the way. 🎓
Cora is looking for a forever home with breed experience who understands the importance of structure, consistency, and enrichment. ✔
As a German Shepherd/Malinois cross, Cora will thrive in an environment that can meet her physical and mental needs and is committed to continuing her training journey. 👌
With consistency, we are confident she will develop into a wonderful dog. This girl has her whole life ahead of her—now is the perfect time to set her on the right path and help her become the amazing companion we know she can be. 🧡
Cora hasn’t had a lot of opportunities to socialise with other dogs and may need to build her confidence in this area. For now, she’s probably best as an only dog. No cats and best not with younger children for now. 👍
Once in care, Cora will receive a full veterinary assessment, fully funded by Animals in Need Brisbane (AINB). 🩺
She needs an inside home with access to a well fenced yard. 🏡
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
